Convertible Vest Totes & Bucket Hats

With this set, I wanted to explore how everyday accessories could do more without becoming more complicated. The idea was to build utility directly into the design, creating pieces that could adapt to different situations while still having a strong visual identity.
The Convertible Vest Tote was designed around transformation. A single zip allows it to move between a wearable vest and a full sized tote, while the construction is engineered to carry a 16 inch MacBook and everyday essentials. The external pockets were designed around the objects people actually carry, giving everything from a phone and wallet to a compact camera and keys its own place. The custom engraved rollercoaster buckle became both a functional fastening and a strong industrial design detail.
The reversible bucket hats follow the same philosophy on a smaller scale. Instead of creating two separate hats, I wanted one object to offer two different identities. The reversible construction allows the wearer to change the character of the piece depending on the setting, outfit or mood.
For the graphics, I developed two distinct visual languages for the collection. The digital camo was designed as a contemporary reinterpretation of camouflage, using fragmented geometric forms and layered shapes to create a pattern that feels more digital and urban than traditional military camouflage. The snakeskin graphic takes a more organic approach, translating the irregular scales and natural variation of snakeskin into a graphic system that could work across different surfaces.
Both graphics were created from scratch, then carefully vectorized, refined and developed into seamless repeat patterns. Designing them as vectors gave me control over scale, spacing and repetition, allowing the patterns to flow continuously across the different products rather than feeling like graphics simply printed onto them.
